The decision to open outsourcing facility center in Vishakapatnam, India was made to reallocate its back-office outsourcing operations to cost-effective Asian nation.

HSBC already has operations in Bangalore and Hyderabad and with the growing trend of outsourcing, the bank plans to recruits around 4,000 people by the middle of 2004.
